Pemamek ha inaugurado oficialmente su notable expansión en las instalaciones actuales con la celebración del Seminario Internacional sobre el Futuro de la Competitividad y el Crecimiento.
Future Competitiveness and Growth Seminar
On the 20th of April Pemamek officially inaugurated the newly finished factory expansion. During the day, Pemamek hosted an international Future Competitiveness and Growth seminar (FCAG) for 80 decision-makers representing shipbuilding and wind power industries, among others.
As Pekka Heikonen (Chairman of the board, Pemamek) had opened the seminar day, Jaakko Heikonen (CEO, Pemamek) shared his views on how highly automated solutions increase competitiveness, whereas Jukka Rantala (Vice President, Pemamek) spoke about intelligent shipbuilding.
The speaker line-up was formed from a set of impressive international speakers: Steven R Sumner (VP, Global Equipment) from Lincoln Electric, Jukka Paasonen (VP, Technology & Quality) from Konecranes and Henrik Dettmann (Head Coach, Finnish National Basketball Team), as well as customer success story presenters Alban Moyon, Florent Camaret and Sebastien Kulesza (STX France) and Rui Duarte (GRI Renewable Industries).
-We met a lot of potential customers who had known about us but who had never actually visited in our factory. We find it important that people come and visit us, because you really need to see our equipment and know-how with your own eyes, Jaakko Heikonen said.
After presentations, the day continued with a guided tour in Pemamek’s new factory and Grand Opening evening event.
